Signs Agreement
to Market, Support, and Co-Develop StatMost
LOS ANGELES, CA --- Software developer Dataxiom Software, Inc. announced that it will take over the marketing and customer support of StatMost from DataMost Corp.. StatMost is a comprehensive statistical analysis and scientific graphics software package for Windows 95 and NT. In the agreement, Dataxiom will also co-develop future releases of the software. DataMost Corp. will continue its role as lead developer of the product.
Dataxiom is dedicated to developing data analysis software solutions for scientists and researchers. The Dataxiom family of products include StatMost Statistical Analysis and Scientific Graphics Software, DataTrix Scientific and Business Spreadsheet, and DST express Statistical Tables Reference Software. The company was founded by BMDP Statistical Software, Inc.'s former General Manager, Jennifer Row. Dataxiom's other principals are former BMDP management, who possess a combined experience of over 30 years in marketing, developing, and supporting data analysis software.
"The data analysis software market hasn't reached critical mass yet," commented Dataxiom President Jennifer Row. "The scientific software industry is very specialized; each vendor has found its own niche. StatMost's strength are its ease of use, comprehensive suite of analysis tools, and wide range of plots and graphs. The value that Dataxiom adds to the product is better technical support, stronger development in the statistical area, and greater availability of the product."
