Year 2000 Compliance

StatMost releases 3.0 and higher (3.5 is the current release) are Year 2000 Compliant. This is true for both the 16-bit (Windows 3.1) and the 32-bit (Windows 95/NT) versions.

• StatMost recognizes an unlimited range of dates
• StatMost consistently stores and represents all dates in the same fashion
• StatMost does not force the display or output of 2-digit dates
• StatMost specifies the century in all date storage
• StatMost specifies the century in date data passed to other programs
• StatMost correctly performs date-based functions and calculations using dates before, at, and after the year 2000
• StatMost correctly sorts groups of dates that span the year 2000

To test, enter dates such as the following in a column in a StatMost datasheet:

01/02/1998
01/03/2004
01/02/1903
01/01/2005
01/02/1994
01/01/1898
01/12/1900
01/12/2000

Then perform a sort on the column by selecting SORT from the DATA menu and sorting the data column in ascending order. Your results should be:

01/01/1898
01/12/1900
01/02/1903
01/02/1994
01/02/1998
01/12/2000
01/03/2004
01/01/2005
